Announcement about our 2021 Tournament of Champions https://t.co/cjRfknjl21
Dear LBAA participants, coaches, and fans:
After much discussion, the Lutheran Basketball Association of America's Board of Directors has voted unanimously to cancel the 2021 Tournament of Champions. In arriving at this decision, the Board discussed the current COVID-19 situations and protocols and considered other known, viable possibilities. We also consulted individuals from the public health sector, Valparaiso University, and past team participants. All of this served only to highlight the uncertainty of the COVID situation going forward and the fact that we would not be able to ensure that everyone would have a fun and safe experience.
With the safety of our teams, Valparaiso University, and the community in mind, the cancellation was the only responsible choice. Again, we do not take this decision lightly and appreciate your continued support of the LBAA. Any questions may be directed to official@lbaa.org.
Blessings,
Michael Morgan
Carlene Wolfram
Amanda Johnson
Rob Gasser
Tim Kollmorgen
