Entries for the 62nd Annual National Lutheran Basketball Association of America Invitational Tournament must be received by March 1, 2008If your state or metro tournaments will not be completed until after March 1, 2007, Charles Woest must receive your National Entry Application, entry fee and required supporting documents by March 1, 2008 to ensure consideration for a berth. If you subsequently decide to withdraw your application before the National Tournament fields are set on March 2, 2008 or you are not awarded a berth, your entry fee will be refunded 100%. Your application must be accompanied by the $250 entry fee. In the event that you find yourself short of time to make the March 1, 2008 entry deadline, please send it by Express Mail so that it will be received by March 1, 2008. Print the completed application, provide all required signatures and mail it along with the entry fee as directed below. E-mail the completed application as directed below.
After you mail your entry application, wait 5 days and then call Charles Woest to verify the application was received. All teams that are awarded a berth are guaranteed to play a minimum of 2 games. Except for the teams that make it to the Sunday finals, every team is also guaranteed to play until they have 2 losses. Before preparing and submitting your application, be sure to read the rules carefully and in their entirety. During our annual meeting in the summer, we sometimes make some significant rule changes. In some cases the rules under which you have played all season may be different from the LBAA rules, which will prevail for the National Tournament. If your rules are different, they may not be acceptable for the Nationals, so be sure to note any differences and the consequences. |
